Salmon Classic Fishing Tournament
Takes place on East & West Grand Traverse Bays. Over $15,000 in cash will be given away in four individual tournaments. There is also a competition for largest fish.
Magical History Tour
Hop on board a comfortable coach for a 90-minute tour of Traverse City. Learn how cherries became its main crop, the lumbering era, early resorts, and more.
Traverse City Beach Bums
Head to Wuerfel Park and catch a series of home games played by the Traverse City Beach Bums.
Birds of Paradise: Amazing Avian Evolution
View the National Geographic Traveling Exhibition at the Dennos Museum Center inside Northwestern Michigan College. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 1pm-5pm. Admission is $10; children and museum members $5.
Building Blocks of America
A real Lego Carnival featuring life-size Lego tunnels, Lego replicas of the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, and hundreds more. Inside the History Center of Traverse City. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 12pm-5pm.
Tapas Tours at Chateau Chantal
Tours are conducted daily from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Experience the winery, vineyard, and enjoy tapas small plates with your choice of Chantal wine.
NCB Sousa Concert
Catch a rousing Sousa Concert at the Northport Community Arts Center. The patriotic music will liven you up and put a smile on your face. Tickets are $20 for adults; $5 for students.
Outdoor Movie Night at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse
Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a free movie at dusk shown on the facade of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Concessions are available for purchase.
Sara Hardy Downtown Farmers Market
Every Saturday from 7:30am-12pm, visit the Sara Hardy Downtown Farmers Market, located in the City Parking lot between Cass and Union streets. Pick up fresh, local produce, including organic varieties.
